The History of MRP

MRP Racing Development was established in 2005 by three brothers who grew up racing in Spanaway, Washington. The three of us grew up riding on a variety of different terrains living in Washington, and suspension was very important to making the ride a little smoother. So, we wanted to learn as much as we could by testing and developing new products. It was only after having disappointing experiences in local shops that we decided that we could make a difference in this business.

Our philosophy is you never stop learning through testing and product development. We first started doing Suspension Rebuilds, and then moved into the Re-valving side of the business. We build highly modified engines for Pro's and Intermediate's, to a slightly modified engine for the average Weekend Warrior. Here at MRP, everyone gets the same quality service whether you are one of our 'top sponsored riders', or one of our 'valued customers'. Our quality and service is unmatched, and we take pride in everything that leaves our shop, from a simple Suspension Rebuild to a full blown Modified Race Motor. We like to see our customers smile after a Holeshot, or after they have just railed through a nasty rutted corner with ease. At MRP, all of our staff has attended many Suspension Seminars, and we are all Certified Suspension Technicians by Paul Thede of Race Tech. Our company is also backed by MMI graduates of Phoenix, Arizona. Our Lead Technician has turned wrenches for Eric Vallejo in Super Cross, and also for Kevin Urquhart doing the West Coast Canadian Nationals in the MX2 class. We all ride, and have an understanding of what our customer want. We believe that we are making a difference in every bike we touch one at a time.
